With and Because of Grace

Today as we celebrate a worldwide but especially here in America day of thanksgiving let us realize our thanksgiving is all because of love. Gods love for us all (John 3:16-17) with no judgement. For our thanksgiving is all in the One who took all our sins and inequities upon Himself (Hebrews 8:10-13) in Grace and Truth that we might be made the righteousness of God. (II Corinthians 5:21) Amen Thanksgiving yes and amen.

So today as we enjoy our many blessings and favor with thanksgiving let us raise our hands and give voice to the praises to our loving Avi, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit, our God. Amen

I am thankful to all my brethren in the Lord, shalom shalom.

Thanksgiving

Obviously on my mind with tomorrow being Thanksgiving Day, and the Lord telling me so blessed are we that every day for us is a day of thanksgiving. Yes and amen. Sometimes we let the cares and concerns of our lives distract us from Him who is our thanksgiving. To bring all to Him (Matthew 11;28-30) daily with thanks. Amen Why the Lord reminds me daily to start my day with Psalms 118:24. This is thanksgiving for we are on favored ground, not dependent on us (amen) but Jesus and His finished work.

Such that we are blessed and given grace to praise, giving thanks with our voices daily and Communion (Eucharist) as much as we want. (Psalms 26:7, 95:1-2) Grace to give thanks, what a concept. Yes, we choose to thank but herein is grace multiplied to us of Gods goodness. (Romans 2:4, II Corinthians 4;13-18-speak, confess thanksgiving, 9:11) Amen

God has given us in Jesus more and above all (Ephesians 3:14-21) that we need and in Jesus our wants (Psalms 23:1). How may we not lift our hands and voices daily to the One who can and does make all work for our good. (Romans 8;28) His beauty and shalom covering us (Psalms 91) even if we do not comprehend the whys and wherefores at the moment. (Hebrews 11:1) We rest assured knowing we are beloved (John 3;16) and favored, blessed of God in Christ. (Hebrews 12:1-2)

But the most awesome thanksgiving is to know God the Father as Avi (my father) which Christ accomplished at the cross. Knowing this IS God the Fathers heart for us in tearing down the separation (Mark 15:38, from top (Father) down-just as Jesus came from above) to us. All of God. In so doing we have been given the position of sons (Galatians 4: 4-7) to boldly come to Abba with our cares, concerns, thanksgivings and praise. In other words, Father has opened the way for constant fellowship (II Corinthians 6:16) with Himself. Amen Amen Amen Thank you Avi, my Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit to continually show us Jesus (II Peter 3:18, Ephesians 1:16-21) and thus our Abba. (John 10:31)

Earnest

Such a beautiful expression. Showing intent, desire, commitment of one to another. Thus we say God has made earnest to us in Christ (Ephesians 1:13-14) His entire blessings and favor (II Corinthians 18-22, 2:14). Amen done and finished (Titus 2:11-14, 3:4-7).

Praise God it is of Him with us being sealed in Christ having been made Gods righteousness (II Corinthians 5:21) that it is no more of our works or efforts but the rest in and of God Himself. (Hebrews 4;9-11, II Corinthians 4:6-7) Amen.

Why I love it that God has made us (done finished in Christ-John 19:30) such earnest we have the grace and power to confess daily we can do all things in Christ. (Philippians 4:13) We have the earnest assurance of Gods Word (Numbers 23:19-20) that no matter what all things work for our good. (Romans 8:28)

Earnest here is arrabon and is used only in the New Testament to denote Gods assurance to believers. (Vines Dictionary) I was greatly joyous (Jeremiah 15:13) to see that in modern Greek arrabon denotes an engagement ring. What a picture of us now as the Bride of Christ. Promised to and coming for us to complete the vows at the Rapture. His assurance our earnest, amen.

The Lord keepeth my Mouth

Praise God that He keeps our hearts, words of our mouths. Psalms 141:3 goes hand in hand with James 1:18 showing forth the grace and goodness of God in and to us. Amen It is God who keeps our mouth, the words to say and speak. (Mark 11:13)

We choose (by Grace given) to open our mouths (Psalms 119:108) but God has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us, lead us and teach us to say. Amen His Word opens the house of the Lord. (II Chronicles 29:2) This is us now for the Holy Spirit indwells us (II Corinthians 6:16) so the gates of the house of the Lord is our mouths. Amen In speaking the Word (Psalms 119:130) and in praying in the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:18)

So blessed in just saying praise the Lord, Hallelujah we honor Him and grace uplifts us so. In Confessing (Jeremiah 15:16, Psalms 119:103) reading the Word the Holy Spirit has access in us to recall what He knows need be said. We are ever being shown Jesus. (II Peter 3:18)

What Grace again to us, that not of us but of Him. In Word and deed showing Jesus. (II Corinthians 4:6-7) Such sweet rest (Hebrews 4:9-10).

Choice is in our Mouth

Deuteronomy 30:14-15 says God has set in our hearts and mouth that we may do it. Grace given us in Jesus Christ (John 1:16-17) that we have the choice of life (Romans 8:2) and good (Philippians 4:13,19, Philippians 1:6) or in rejecting Him; death and evil.

Sometimes people even believers think that bad things are from God who is pure grace and love for us. (John 3:16-17, Titus 3:3-7, I John 4:7-19) The world itself is still under the evil that is satan and the dead flesh, from which comes the evil and bad things we see. The spark of goodness seen without God is but fleshly work that cannot maintain. The choice is ours for the finished work of Christ (John 19:30) so our confession of Him is to life and good, ( Romans 10:8-13) no matter the bad in this world. (Romans 8:28)

Amen for the goodness of God (Deuteronomy 31:6) to us that our daily confessions of Himself, the Word (John 1:1-2) is power being released (Hebrews 4:12) to our good and establishing us from evil. (II Thessalonians 3:3) Amen We choose to speak praises and worship, regardless of the temporal, (II Corinthians 4: 15-18) knowing we are made righteous (II Corinthians 5:21).

Knowing His loving Grace now in our confession of Him has brought us out of condemnation and death into Him, life and shalom. This is our confession of good having this opinion of God. Choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19). I see where in my Bible I chose life, 9/8/77. Not salvation but life in him to speak, confessing the Word, receiving all of him. So let our words be His in praise and thanksgiving.
