Sit Down

Today just sit down, rest in Him.  Enjoy His fruit of salvation and renewal in your body, soul and spirit. (Isaiah 40:31)  This is our Christ, our bridegroom.  Such a beauty of joy and peace unto us.  amen

…so is my beloved among the sons,

I sat down under His shadow(Psalms 91:1)3

with great delight (Nehemiah 8:10)

and His fruit (Ephesians 5:9) was sweet to my taste.

He brought me to the banquet house(Psalms 23:5)

and His banner over me was love. (John 3:16, I John 4:19)

Song of Solomon 2:3-4

Yes and amen  Ours is to enjoy our Lord and the fruits of Himself now (I John 4:17).  In Him we see nothing of the world and its darkness.  We are aware of but not touched nor brought low by it.  We just look at the beauty and sweet aroma of our Savior, our Lord our bridegroom.  amen

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life,

clear as crystal proceeding out of the throne

of God and the lamb. (Psalms 23:2)

Revelation 22:1

Sit down an just rest in Him , enjoying His fruit.  God has got this and anything else you may be facing.

Why art thou cast down?

Such a loving Father (I John 4:19) He gives me His Word(Jesus-John 1:1-3, Ephesians 6:17) by the Holy Spirit to confirm His teaching and ways. (II Peter 3:19)

Always of Jesus and His being the center amen.  Some days earlier, rather the enemy or my flesh(does not matter) I was thinking down thoughts but Father kept reminding me to just pray in the Spirit and keep going.  (Ephesians 6:18, Colossians 4:2, I Thessalonians 5:17-18)  Praying and giving thanks.  To keep centered upon Jesus.  Not the I but the I AM.  amen  So comforting to know that our best intentions are always in  Gods mind: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. amen.

So tonight as I was reading in Psalms I was directed to Psalms 42:5, 43:5.  First interesting, no coincidences with God, that both chapters the verse is five: grace Hesed, the Gift of God to us. (John 1:17) amen

So Father asking me, why art thou cast down in your soul?  No condemnation (Romans 8:1-2) but instruction.  To get my attention-why?   You have to answer and in doing you realize the I has arisen and the result is being down cast but our hope (Romans 8:24-26, Ephesians 1:18, Colossians 1:27, Hebrews 6:18-20, I Peter 1:3) is ever more our Lord Jesus and He alone.

He is our praise and thanksgiving with joy looking unto Him.  Our countenance cannot remain down cast nor our hearts low.  Not talking about jumping up and down, but if you want to do it, but realizing whose you are and in whom is set your joy, peace, answers healing, your every need.  (Philippians 4:13) amen

Praying without ceasing with Thanksgiving amen

Name(s)

Names are so important.  We have lost the understanding of names somewhat in this day and age.  But thank of how we describe our Lord and Savior.

Messiah, Salvation, wonderful counselor, healer, First Born, Great Shepherd, High Priest, God and man and so much more.  The beauty of our Lord that we get to see and learn of Him daily, communing with Him evermore. (II Peter 3:18)  Amen

Not to mention the names revealed of God and Lord in the Old Testament.  Yet Grace and  Truth (John 1:17) describe Him best.  No matter our situations or where we are in our journey with Him He is Always with us (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5,8) and guiding us (Psalms 23:3, 5:8) and loving us into Himself (Truth)Psalms 232:1-2).  That we may enjoy all ( II Corinthians 1:19-22) the blessings of God(Philippians 4:19) amen.

Yes and amen, Lord is my savior and friend and my shepherd.  He gave me unto the Father (John 10:28-30) and revealed Him to us in Himself that we may cry out Abba (Romans 8:15-16, Galatians 4:4-7)and forever have the understanding and right to come boldly to our Father.  (Hebrews 4:14-16, 10:19-23)  In Christ forever righteous (II Corinthians 5:21) with no judgment nor condemnation but His life (Romans 8:1-2) that we may rest in the surety of Father Gods good pleasure in us as His children, His sons.  This is our Lord, why we are named Christians, all of Him. amen.

Brass of the Cross

The joy and grace bestowed upon us now is beyond understanding.  So let us give thanks to the love of the Father, by Christ our Savior, through the Holy Spirit to see.  amen. (John 3:16-17)

The other day the Brass Serpent (Numbers 21:5-9) was a devotional about how Christ became our judgement at the Cross. (John 3:14-15, II Corinthians 5:21)  Brass representing judgment and being crucified a double open judgment for all to see. (Galatians 3:13, Deuteronomy 21:22-23)

How great Gods love for  us to save us so.  amen  His sinless life judged in our stead. amen  While this is much to chew on, so much truth (John 1:17), the thought that came to mind was how did all the Tribes see the Cross.  Yes it was lifted up but there were so many Tribes how did they all see?

I thought at first that they looked towards the serpent but Numbers is indicative of them coming to see (verse 8- to see) and in the seeing they looked at he judgment and received it by looking (verse 9). It still showed forth the grace of God to salvation in Jesus amen.

So applied to us today you must remember Numbers is Old Testament, under Law. (thou shalt) Yet Grace abounding even in the peoples rejection.  Salvation is seen and looked upon.

Today we look back to see the Cross and receive our righteousness in Christ judgment.  (God saying I will, no longer thou shalt) Grace in His Salvation.  Blessed for Salvation came for us to see (Cross) and to behold(look upon Jesus) and receive, take. ( I John 4:9-10, Titus 3:5-6).

Fathers Day

Amen that we take one day out of the year as it were to give thanks to our Fathers.  How blessed we may give thanks and praise every day to our Heavenly Father.  The Father who SO loved us that He sent us Jesus His only Son.  (John 1:14,17, 3:16, I John 4:10)

He sent not because of  anything we did or could ever do but simply for His heart of love for us.  So we may give thanks and celebrate Fathers day every day.  amen  To know the Almighty God on a first name basis, Daddy, Abba, Father, so special a right given us in Christ Jesus. (Matthew 25:34, Luke 12:32, John 10:30, 20:17)

Our Father who is all our comfort and mercies. (II  Corinthians 1:3)  This is our Father not as of the world, fallible or even dismissive.  No our father is aware of us and even knows the number of hairs on our head. (Matthew 10:30)  This is our Father.  He is for us.  It is His good pleasure to give to us His very best in Christ by the Holy Spirit daily.  (II Peter 3:18)  Such that we need never fear His being displeased with us,  punishing us or bringing bad upon us.  NO NEVER this is not our Father.  If you think so you do not know Abba. You have a wrong picture of Father. Listen and hear His saying in you; I  am pleased with you in Christ I see you evermore.  I do not condemn nor judge you but love you, cherish you, bless and favor you in all your ways.   This is our Daddy! Amen

Happy fathers Day

thank you Daddy
