Whose Am I

Praise God, our Lord Jesus is the I AM. (Exodus 3:14, John 14:6)  Yes and amen  This is who I am in Him.  Whose I am, amen.  He tells us often that we are the beloved children of the Father. (Ephesians 1:5)  Whose I am amen. Not of this world yet in the world. (I John 4:17)  Whose I am, amen.

This is who we are and whose we are.  In Him.  So no matter what you may experience or go through remember whose you are.  Jesus showed us the way at the Cross.  In the Garden he told the Father if so let this cup pass yet not my will but yours be done. (Luke 22:42) He knew who He was and we now know beyond any doubt we are His.  Whose I am, amen.

This is why I love Psalms 27:1.  I use to see it as all that the Lord Jesus has done for me and who He is.  So true but today the Lord shared with me how and whose I am.

The Lord is my light and my

salvation; whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life;

whom shall I be afraid?

Obviously the answer is no one.  Our Lord-Yahweh(Covenant name of God being used) which means this is personal and directed to each of us.  Whose we are amen.  The use of is shows us that it is continuous and and eternal( Psalms 118:29), ongoing.  This is who we are.  amen

Whose we are in Christ, light, salvation(all it means: saving yes but also health prosperity, wisdom, all that God is) and the strength of our life which is our fortress, our safety, defense, stronghold and so much more.(Psalms 91)  This is who we are and whose we are.  amen  Our God knows us so intimately that our hairs are numbered by Him. (Matthew 10:30, Luke 12:7)  Our life He makes fresh and strong in Himself daily amen and for all eternity.  Whose I am indeed amen.

So knowing Him of whom shall we be afraid or fear?(II Timothy 1:7)  None!

Ah Resting

Resting in the flesh carries the connotation of doing nothing, being inert and not moving.  While this may be a truth in the flesh, it is not the Truth.  yes and amen  He is our Lord Jesus who came (John 1:17) and still is full of Grace and Truth for us.  amen

In our Lords realm resting is what God desires most for His people. (Hebrews 4:9,11)  It is not that we do nothing but rather we allow and accept Gods finished work in us.  Allowing the Holy Spirit to work out for us (Philippians 2:12) what Christ did at the Cross.(John 19:30-finished) amen

We have the confident expectation(good hope-Hebrews 6:18-20) that He who was and is and forever shall be-our I Am. (John 14:6, Exodus 3:14) In Him I am resting and believing that all is done and all is mine in Him. (II Corinthians 1:20)  Indeed such amazing grace, mercy, love and goodness given us. (Psalms 118:29)  All praise to Him.  amen

So this is the true rest.  Moving and walking as we sit with Him in the heavenlies. (Ephesians 1:3,2:6, I John 4:17)  Having done all he rests and we rest in our walk in Him.  So we are moving, and doing: working out that which is done. amen  Big difference then what the world perceives as rest.  amen

To Those

The Lord said to me, show this to those that do not believe. They may deny me, the Truth, but in My grace and love I Am.

thus saith God the Lord, He that created

the heavens, and stretched them out;

He that spread forth the earth, and

that which cometh out of it; He that giveth

breath unto the people upon it, and the

spirit to them that walk therein;

Isaiah 45:5

Even this morning as I took my dog out it was still dark and the moon and stars were shinning brightly held in  place by the Word of Him who created them.  This is our God.  Too often we forget the simple and things we can see of His greatness.  What grace here that we exist because of His breath in our lives.  Think about it.  He could snuff us out by just a word.  Thank God this is not His heart. ( I John 4:19)  He is love and His mightiness is shown forth in His mercy and goodness.(Psalms 118:29)

What other god of man has done what He has done?  What other god of this world has given up His only Son(if they even had an only son) for a rebellious and quarrelsome people?  Only Jehovah Elohim.   Again I am reminded that those who profess them self wise are  foolish. (I Corinthians 1:18-21)

So as believers we are doubly blessed and favored:  the breath of God gave us physical life and the breath-blood of Christ has given us spiritual life.  amen  The very righteousness of God(II Corinthians 5:21) so we may know-hope-in Him. amen

Stronghold of our Hope

Does God hear us?  Yes and amen  He desires above all else to give unto His Children. He has and does so every sec. of everyday 24/7.  amen  He is was and shall ever be. (Deuteronomy 31:6)  Ho so very blessed we are to be alive in the New Covenant, our Christ now and present (I John 4:17).

So no matter what just turn to the stronghold(Jesus-Psalms 91:2) ye prisoners (bondmen-Psalms 23:2,5-6, 89:18) OF THE HOPE. (Zechariah 9:12)  Notice it is not a hope nor someones else hope but singular hope.  It is not a verb but a noun.  the person of our Lord Jesus Christ-amen and amen.  It is He.  Personally and for each of us in our needs, desires, hope of Him.  What a God of Grace and Truth, filled with mercy (Psalms 118:29) we serve. amen

Thus as God so declares unto us: I will(Himself) render double, unto thee, I receive, confess and give thanks.  amen  Ah so greatly blessed, favored on every-side and beloved and pleasing to the Father.  In Christ my fortress and Great Shepherd.  We face today(s) with hope and comfort knowing our lord Jesus and Father got this-amen.

Wisdom

For the wisdom of this world is

foolishness with God.  For it is written

He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

I Corinthians 3:19

Oh thank God for His mercy and wisdom that we rest in.  His name is Jesus.  amen  Why I do not listen too much to the news or read the papers anymore.  It is the wisdom of the world and it showeth more and more the foolishness of the world.  I need only keep my eyes on Him who is the Truth filled with Grace (John 1:17) and love.  I am not saying it is wrong to watch the news or understand what is going on in the world but I do not need the constant negatives.  I do not want to let it creep into my spirit.  My flesh does  a good enough job for this.   Again I thank God that I am righteous in Christ (II Corinthians 5:21) and under His wings(not just a covering but taking us up unto Himself) of protection. ( Psalms 91:4, 18:8, 57:1, 61:4) Just remember that we are:

and ye are Christs;

and Christ is Gods.

I Corinthians 3:23

The Lord has spoken and it is so. (Numbers 23:19)  amen
